Activities

Located less than 5 miles from 3 separate boat ramps including the Gum Branch MEGA Boat Ramp, bringing your boat for a leisure weekend of fishing, or using Basecamp for your home base during the numerous fishing tournaments is ideal. All sites are designed to accommodate your sleeping rig and your fishing rig.

We are also just a few short miles from downtown Hartwell- named Georgia’s best downtown of the year for 2023! Stay with us and see why- excellent local restaurants, unique shops and beautiful historic buildings. Make sure you check out the fantastic murals spread throughout the town and our gorgeous botanical gardens.

Facilities

All sites are connected to individual water and sewer connections, with 30 of the lots being full hookup, allowing for 30 and 50 Amp hookups. Along with a quiet and comfortable place to stay, Basecamp offers areas for your dog to get exercise in the dog park area. Coming soon we are excited to offer bath house facilities and walking trails through the wooded areas.
